A very informative op however what I can't see is any information anywhere on this and official websites about ILR for minors of a deceased sponsor and loved one and perhaps more pertinent in my case a minor on arrival and FLR first stage who at the point of bereavement is over 18.
One would hope that the compassionate grounds are acceptable.

You shared a lot of posts with Sean in the other place pre 2010, I can tell you that he always liked you and hoped that one day you might turn up here in his forum, we talked about you a good few times.

I am in the same situation as Joy now :(.
    My husband passed away Jan.15,this year :( :( :(

My spouse visa will expire September 2021 yet.
I am in a situation where,I am thinking of
1)lodging my visa this year ,but because of CoVid-19 pandemic I am hesitant to do so.We don't know what situation this virus will bring us and how long we stay like this. And my worry is that,if I will send my passport together with my application for ILR,it could not be processed right away.I learned that the waiting time is 4-6 months and with the current situation it could be much more longer, and if anything happens, who knows what could be,I want to have my passport and other documents with me.
    2) I will just wait to next year to apply, but there could definitely more back logs on applications and I might be waiting longer too.
Dealing with grief and the current situation makes it more harder for me.

    I could not decide what's best ?
I need some advises what could be the best that I should do?
Since his 2018 diagnosis, I left my job and took care of him until his last days.,and I haven't been back to work up to now.
What's the advantage of applying now or do it next year?
Hope you could give me a different view from what I have now .
    Thank you everyone.
    Stay safe.

So hello again guys,Yeap i could have launch my application right away, but yes it wasn't easy dealing with grief. My health was affected so much and this is why i decided to just be calm and have it lodge this month.
I think i am really panicky now, altho i dont need to,but can't avoid it How i wish we are off of pandemic now as this is also a factor to my stress.
Anyways, reason why i am here again because ,i can no longer locate the link for the visa application for bereaved wife.
So if anyone could please help me .
I got the first part which says all the requirements needed, but can't find the actual application link .
Badly need help .thank you and God bless everyone .

Thank you oss,yes that's the one,i managed to find it.But thank you so much I'm already on the payment part, its £2408.20 including biometrics.
I need to review my answers first before paying.
Thank goodness i had kept my previous visa application files intact. It made the process easy.I referred into it for the answers Almost the same except that this route is more straight forward.

In relation to approval of visas,do you guys think,it will take much more longer than the usual, because the Home Office are also busy giving ILR to Afghanistan's who were evacuated to the UK?
Just thought of this whilst doing my application .

its already 6 months for a standard application. We paid the extra £800 for a decision in 24 hrs ( took 2 days ).

That's a lot but worth it when you are in a hurry. But might consider that if it's not pandemic I'm in no rush to travel anyway, might just wait.
