For those of you who don't subscribe to the Filipino Channel, they also show their version of the Voice. Anyway, yesterdays episode of The Voice showcased a young artist called Lee Grane And after watching Bamboo tear up I'm hoping Lee Grane goes onto win this year The Voice Philippines!
I've been watching The Voice online from the beginning. It can be watched here: http://phnoy.com/series/the-voice-of-the-philippines I preferred the English and American versions. There's too much advertising, they drag it out too much, and nearly all the acts go for vocal histrionics at the expense of melody to such an extent that it gets annoying after a while. My favourite was the guy in the hat with the guitar (name escapes me right now) - and he went out early despite winning the public vote because of the ridiculous judges scoring system. Best thing for me is that it's at Resort World, Manila because I saw a show there once so I like seeing the theatre!
