I would have thought that hospitals had Filipino male nurses. It seems to me that most Filipinos in the UK are female though. Good luck.
Filipino male nurses in UK hospitals are often, in fact, qualified as doctors. If you happen to live near a port, I'd suggest that you offer to volunteer at the Missions to Seamen and you will be overwhelmed with Filipino seamen and ships' officers.
A tanker usually gets between 24 and 48 hours in port; a bulk carrier may have two or three days and a containership may be in port for twelve hours, so what usually happens is that the crew get down to the Mission in shifts to phone home, buy phone cards, etc.
Hey' the ones already here" dated a guy for 6years we just fingered it would never work being overseas from each other. Good suggestion the seamen " but I'm looking more permanent " than 48hours The males i know are in fact nurses' & if not taken then sure to be not into women. Gosh why is it so impossible to find a single good looking pinoy & yet the Brit men find hundreds of filipina! Wahhhhhhh hahaah"
Before giving up on seafarers (and do keep in mind that a containership on a regular run will be back in the same port every few weeks at the most) consider this - there is a real shortage of qualified ships officers for shore jobs in the UK - the right bloke, should you find such a thing can step ashore into the UK and into a good job here. I'm British and I can count friends who were at sea who have married, gone ashore, got a good job and settled in Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Greece, Canada and the States. And they were all colleagues in one not-very-big shipping company.
Not the seismic ship(s) I was on :vhappy:......We all went to the Seaman's mission at the same time leaving a few sad bods to make sure the ship wasn't boarded and things stolen. This was in Cameroun though
I'm aware of that, having hung around with culture for 13years to also know the obvious ") im not new to the culture my point is simply pinay" seem more to the ratio than pinoy making it impossible to find a guy.
This probably isn't very helpful, but there is there is always "get on a plane...book beach holiday..." Funnily enough I bought my last house from an Englishwoman married to a Filipino - it had been her late mother's house.
