Yes that is correct if the TB certificate was valid at application date no further action required
If not valid at application then attend biometrics and get a new certificate and upload

I'm going to apply by end of this month. I live with my friend in his 2 bedroom flat. He outright owns the house, no mortgage and I live with him without any written agreement in place.

What do I need to include in my application, I've asked him to write a letter stating that he is ok for my Fiance to move in here with me and live with us. Is there anything else required?

Should be ok according to guidance. Link below and extract.

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...le-version#definition-of-adequate-maintenance

    Ownership/occupation
The applicant should provide evidence as to the basis on which the accommodation is or will be owned or occupied (including rented) by the family unit. This may for example be in the form of a copy of the property deeds, a letter from a bank or building society as to the mortgage arrangements, a lease agreement and rent book, or a letter from a family member or friend who is making the accommodation available to the applicant and their family unit.

Just when I thought I had everything nearly in place to apply for my fiancé visa she needs to do Sputum test and wait 9 weeks for the result. Anyone else had this recently? Just part of our process I guess.

This means her x-ray result was not clear and needs a sputum test to be sure she doesn't have any TB. There's not much you can do but wait I guess~

And finally the visa application has been submitted and biometrics done today. Paid for priority service of 30 working days. Now for the anxious wait. I don't know why they make it so difficult and expensive.

Thank you to everyone on here for help with gathering everything needed on here.

we went for priority same day service at UKVI Croyden for wife's first FLR after we got married...so she could start work ASAP to get money coming in instead of draining out every day.

AT the final hurdle--ILR --i decided to pay for priority 24 hour service as i was just sick of the all the waiting and worrying--i just wanted it all over and done with. Whats one more £800 on top of the £2400 extortion.

Was asked to send additional documents about self employed figures from my accountant. Sent these back yesterday. I was surprised to receive an email from them on 30th Dec, thought they would be off.

This waiting for an email is torture

    Fiance Visa approved!!

Thank you to everyone on here for all the amazing tips and advice.

Submitted biometrics on 20th Dec and got decision today with priority service.

So relieved but the Vignette entry date isn't until 23rd March so have a few more weeks to wait. Luckily I'm going to Manilla this Thursdays for 10 days.

With the Fiancé Visa all approved for entry on 23rd March and CFO certificate all sorted, is there anything else my Fiancee needs to do/bring with her to the airport?

Congratulations on getting the visa you've done the hard part, if she's going to get stopped at immigration chances are it will be in the UK they will want to check that all is correct.
I would make sure she has the visa confirmation to hand.
Make sure she knows your full address and is comfortable talking a little about you and your relationship with her make sure she has your mobile number.

Nah, PH immigration can be a pain as well if you are using a Philippine passport.
Be prepared for lots of questioning, with the immigration officer checking her documents and asking personal questions.

    This despite having visa.

Just have her documents ready and be ready to answer questions.

"Where did you and your partner meet?"
"How many years have you been together?"

Definitely heard that this was a potential issue in the past and prepared for it and had all the documents available.

Also went for a short trip to Singapore with fiancee and youngest kid at the time to test out the experience of Philippines immigration and then have evidence of going and coming back.

Not sure if it was fact that I was there carrying the 18 month old kid through immigration with fiancee passing across the collection of passports but seem to remember a few words being said n Tagalog and straight through and same when went to UK to get married on marriage visit visa and then departure to UK on spouse visa. No issues but do wonder if it was me being there or also having the kids that made it easier.

I am sure like many things in the Philippines immigration leaving the Philippines maybe a pain, however my wife when she left on her spouse visa experienced no issues. 2015
Again when my wife and daughter(first time leaving the Philippines) left the Philippines there was no issues at Manila airport
