Hi everyone, just introducing myself. I'm a 26 year old British guy, married for almost one year to my Filipina wife. We met and married in Abu Dhabu, UAE, 3 years ago. I have been to the Philippines once, and my wife has visited the UK twice. We will be exploring options for to move to the UK permanently in the future. I am learning tagalog, and am currently at a conversation level, although if you are filipino you will have slow down when speaking to me hehe. I have lived with Filipinos for years now and I love the people and the culture, can't wait to get more involved and learn more about the culture.! Thanks.
Welcome to British Filipino Gusto_Ko_Na.. Not picked up much Filipino myself, a few Visayan words and a couple in Tagalog... Nothing near conversational level - yet.
Took me a long time to get a decent grasp of the structure of Tagalog! Illongo is something else, don't think I will ever master that language! Thanks for the welcome!
Good for you - you are making some of us feel rather inadequate with your Tagalog! Anyway, welcome on board...
