    Hello everybody,

My name is Wayne and im from England. I met the most wonderful, loving, caring human being called Hosen 7 months ago online. We instantly clicked with each other and i feel such a connection with her. We have spoken virtually every day since then on Skype and we soon found ourselves falling head over heels for each other. Our aim is for her to eventually settle in the UK so that we can be together. Its a daunting prospect trying to get a visa for her to come here. But we are determined to be together and any trials and tribulations along the way will be so worth it in the end. This forum looks like a great place. I look forward to chatting with lots of you and hopefully contributing where i can too

Bitten by the Filipina bug eh :) nothing wrong with that, get yourself over to the Philippines and enjoy the loved one and the country.

Don't worry about the visa process, if you get to that stage and its a straight forward application then all the information you need is here at BF. I hope she has not been married before as that can complicate matters somewhat.

Good luck with the blossoming romance :)

Yaaay! Another Brit has fallen in heart with a Filipina! Am just so proud to be one! Hi Timmers, I had to make a reply I cant help but comment. It is indeed very hard if the Filipina is married. I for one is/was married 10 years ago but separated a year after the marriage and never been in a relationship. Only love for work till I realised am entering the Prime age (31-am assuming) and single! I met my British knight online and taking one step at a time. Spending more time together in Cebu and UK and working on annulment case.
The visit visa application I must agree must be straight forward and never give a single reason to the ECO to refuse entry to the UK. I was scared but with all my life story since I met him, submitted to them, ECO never had a second thought!
On my entry to the UK last December 2014, the Immigration Officer asked me who I was visiting and I said my BF and she looked at me and I looked at her with all confidence and stamped!

Thanks for welcoming me into your great community. Yes, im another brit thats been bitten by the Filipino bug! We met completely by accident but im so glad we did. Very daunted by the whole visa thing to be honest. Cant imagine what it would be like if her visa was rejected. But im going to be positive and hope for the best. Btw, shes not been married previously so yeah, thats one good thing.
