Back again, Whilst browsing the net today I have come across the following information, https://www.gov.uk/government/news/...-care-as-health-and-care-visa-scheme-expanded Yes it has apparently been available since August 2020,but the Government decided to do a press release yesterday 24/12/2021. https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa

You may be thinking so whats different well this is different, I have always presumed that one of the requirements to come here and work was that potential workers needed a pretty high standard of English in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening ie somewhere near an IELTS average of 5/6 across the 4 skills, I believed this because some years ago a local Hospital sent some recruitment personel to the Philippines but only employed just 3 from the whole recruitment drive due mainly to the lack of Knowledge of English, https://www.expressandstar.com/news...-19k-on-philippines-trip-but-hire-just-three/ However I have found out today that the requirement for a Visa is much the same as what our partners are required to obtain when applying for Visas in the UK which is B1 on the Life Skills CEFR scale from an approved provider and entails holding a 5/10 minute conversation in English with a qualified person at the providers premises. https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/knowledge-of-english.

Iv just read up more on this and it does require the 4 skills to be achieved at B1 level.

Hopefully this could lead to more Health Workers with there families coming to the UK and helping out our under staffed NHS.
