I post this one periodically on Facebook, in the hope that some Phils family members might actually take notice of it: .
There's a clip somewhere,a pinoy lying calmly on the side of the road while someone walks towards him holding something...........this foot.He is obviously in shock!
Humbly suggest that wearing a crash helmet is more important than wearing boots. One can live without a foot, whereas................
True. BOTH would be ideal... though unlikely, certainly from what I've observed in our locality. (Close to home, as my lovely Fiancee was killed on a motorcycle , while wearing full safety gear, 30 years ago this coming May 1st ) . I suppose some is better than none though.
I'm sure it is a requirement to wear a helmet when riding in Cebu City. They had a push on it a year or so ago. It should be compulsory everywhere. Last time I rented in Camotes I was given two.
It supposedly IS the law everywhere in the Phils (helmet AND the wearing of proper footwear), but as with so many 'laws' there.... the further you are from where they were made...
Thanks Malcolm . This is the second time I have been hospitalised this winter. My previous stay was 5 days but this time it will be at least double that as I had a rather severe allergic reaction to an inhaled drug.
Thank you Max . The drug was actually Beclamethasone, a corticosteroid, rather than that foul brown coloured drain-cleaner or white chalk dust.
