Annoys me to no end when some lazy bastard cant be bothered to take the trolley back, leaving it either in the parking bay or somewhere it will roll away and cause damage.. "You know who you are" Just stop it !!!!! "Grinds my gears" as Peter from Family Guy would say
The other week I caught someone doing just that, but then I noticed it was a disabled lady. So I thought right, I am going to park in a disabled space for defo, next week.
Amazingly, I'm the opposite, I seem to be more tolerant the older I get. Probably because I've spent 6 years in my current job as a supermarket home delivery driver, and nothing surprises me anymore. I've seen it all - lane drifters, inconsiderate & impatient BMW/Audi drivers, lost tourists, 15mph tractors, raging taxi drivers, rude customers and stupid Welsh speaking idiots who get offended if I dare pronounce the name of their village or town wrong. And you thought it was quiet in Wales....
I am disabled but I usually put the trolley back in its rightful parking place; if I don't is is because I am not walking too well that day. At least I leave it in a place that does not cause an obstruction. What does annoy me are those who put the trolley back in the longest queue, eventually partially blocking the exit or entrance to the supermarket! I always put my trolley back in the shortest queue, even if it means a struggle moving adjacent queues of trolleys aside. The trolley attendant even remarked how considerate I was and he now brings me a trolley if he sees me in the car park! I once complained to Tesco as their staff park in the disabled bays at late night shopping time. The reply was that hooligans were damaging their cars at night and so they needed to park near the store. Understandable I suppose. I don't late night shop now because Tesco are always blocking the aisles in the shop as they re-stock shelves. What is the point of opening late and then prevent customers from walking down the aisle? Another thing that annoys me is when I get a new car and I cannot store the stuff in the new car in the same place because there is no cubby hole there or the cubby hole is too small! Stupid I know. The other thing are litter-droppers, including cigarette ends and chewing gum. It is good that smoking is banned in public areas but that now means we get piles of cigarette ends outside places of work, hospitals etc. Every time I take my cat for a walk, I pick up litter from the playing field, people just don't care. It seems quite a problem in this country at least. Then there are doorstep sellers (dodgy or otherwise, I will not entertain them). Political canvassers are another sore point but I don't actually mind Jehovah's Witnesses calling - probably because I have no strong views on religion or religious denominations, being pretty much agnostic and the ladies are generally quite pretty!! People who swear, because they really have nothing to say is a real turn-off, along with those that whistle some nondescript tune, because they are probably tone-deaf. Mobile phone usage in the street really used to make my blood boil, but I don't even notice it now. Finally, there are those who cannot use apostrophes, especially those that put an apostrophe in front of the final 's' in every plural, even if I may make similar mistakes myself! So, if anyone wants to make me annoyed at myself, please read all my posts and report back!! Actually, there is one more finally - Can someone please help me keep logged in to this b''''' f''''' website'?
Yes. But like Timmers says. They have the potential to damage ones car. Important if you have a smart mota. Also. I parked the thing as it wasn't suitable for the baby to sit in. So it was of no use to us and was a potential source of scratching to anyone that parks in the bay. Don't know why I need to explain that. Pretty obvious really if you think about it. Presumably you have a banger, Dave?
