But don't get too excited just yet! Google have only just started mapping out Manila! And only a tiny portion of that is available online, mostly from walkers who are carrying a Google Streetview camera backpack (I want one).. But over the coming weeks, months, years we will finally get to see the Philippines and see the amazing views around the country. This is one current view!
I use streetview all the time if I'm going to some place new, or talking about a holiday I had some years ago.
I worked here: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Pandiman Philippines Incorporated/@14.588532,120.97575,2a,90y,90t/data=!3m5!1e2!3m3!1shttps://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oxKPlbYuMt8/TxYMMx4wRYI/AAAAAAAAAAM/0TS44PGysjA/s270/Pandiman%2BPhilippines%2BIncorporated!2e4!3e12!4m15!1m12!4m11!1m3!2m2!1d120.9755267!2d14.5894283!1m6!1m2!1s0x3397ca3d711a12d7:0xdaf4b6c64f53e3e0!2sAnda St, Maynila, Philippines!2m2!1d120.9739076!2d14.5901501!3m1!1s0x0:0xfed965dc042897ca!6m1!1e1 A very fine bunch of people and if you really, really screw up badly in the Philippines they will be a hundred times more use to you than the Embassy. They are the Correspondents for ALL the P&I Clubs, which I think makes them unique in the world.
My wife wanted to know the location / identity of a certain church like building that is used for a mothers and babies playgroup here. I just took a screen grab from street view for her and sent it to her in YM so she knew immediately what she was aiming for.
Ah Intramuros been there a long time ago This is good news always really wanted to have this in Metro Manila.
