My favourites were when they converted a car into a boat and drover acros the English channel and when Clarkson/May drove a vehcile to the North Pole whilst the other one atempted a dog sledge ride to the North Pole. Must be a great deal of fun doing that programme, but I no longer have a TV licence so I don't watch it anymore. The only excitement I am likely to get is when the TV licence man comes to my house and cannot get past the front gate!
Is there a concession these days on TV licences at a certain age? I just looked. Its free at the age of 74
It wouldn't be worth watching anyway.... There is very little on TV, nowadays, that would entice me to sit and stare at the screen. Maybe NCIS, Law and Order and or the odd movie that hasn't been shown before, but the chances of that are none to slim indeed...
Footie is streamed as and when it is needed.. Oh, yeah.......... The teletubbies from xfactor................ The women in the house use the set for this rot.... But they are forbidden to phone in, upon pain of deportation and flogging...
Dr Who? Apart from Top Gear, the footie, X Factor and The Tweenies and Dr Who, what have the BBC and ITV ever done for us eh?
