    Hi to everyone here.
My wife got her spouse visa in 2016 in the Philippines so now it is coming up for renewal in august 2019.I am sorry for being a little lazy but both of us are very busy with our work so maybe a little advice would be very much appreiciated .

    1) is this our first or second flr application I assumed this would be the second and after this we apply for ilr.

    2) After submitting our application online do we need to upload all our documents or do we just take them with us if we go the fast track route which i believe is done within the day.

3)Do we need to get a new biometric card and where from or does she just submit the one that she got when she got here and they issue a new one.

    4) Has anyone recently done their application in Liverpool ( do they still do it here ).

My wife has got her ielts life skills test A2 in may.How much is the IHS these days the flr application and also the fast track route as everytime i read about these the prices seem to vary a lot just so we know how much it is going to cost.

If there is anything else I have missed out we would be very happy to take on board what you all suggest.
Once again thank you for your time and patience.

check your dates. after a spouse visa is granted--the applicant needs to apply for flr 28 days before 30 ( or is it 33) months are up. so when was her spouse visa dated ?

ok--so she needs to apply for flr within 28 days of expiry. if she came over on a spouse visa--she only applies once for flr. if it was a fiancee visa--you would have applied for first flr within 6 months.

flr fee is about £1000..plus another £1000 for the IHS surcharge

i wouldnt worry about the ILR fee--its another 30 months away--so will have had a couple of ginormous price hikes by then. currently about £2500.

We have a spouse visa i got my dates mixed up just checked it was november 2016 not december 2016 she arrived here.Talking of price hikes i could have swore i only paid around £500 for the IHS last time .Do you know if you can get same day approval doing fast track, just that she is a teacher here and as her visa is going to expire in august they will only renew her contract till the end of school term in july but have said if she can show her visa is successful she will be given a new contract and be paid through the summer holidays

yep--IHS doubled a few months ago. they dont do things by half!

we got same day FLR at Croydon--that was after she came over with a fiancee visa. was an extra £500 then for same day. gone up a bit i believe.

your welcome bigmac hope the link helps anyone else who has to go through this all again. As we got our spouse visa done in the philippines i thought the process might be slightly different back here in the uk.

I have ordered the £99 visa package from them and ohhhhh nothing, just email to confirm order, no other emails, no download links no files attached to emails from migrate.org.uk , 5 days has past now. I wanted help with templates letters, that why I ordered after seeing the website. UPDATE: Files received . True you have to do a bit of digging to contact them. They need to put contact details on the website homepage. Files received in Microsoft word format, which is excellent for editing, nice layout for the letter templates. Happy now.
