Relax, I'm still heading out tomorrow.... Though, the return leg has a detour to Taipei and then onto Amsterdam, then home to Manchester. Will be leaving later in the day so I can spend more time with Joy Though, I now have a longer route, hence a cheaper route.. But without the refund! Will see if I can harass a customer service manager into providing me with an upgrade out of this
Taipei god that's the long way round, not sure that would have been a cheaper route Sean, the price is really based on the fuel they have to burn and the route pax loadings, make sure you sign up for flying blue and start collecting miles, you never know. Sadly they will almost definitely under no circumstances upgrade a passenger that does not have flying blue miles and status, they will sometimes move you a bit closer to the front but that's about all. What's your seat number on the way out Sean (the second flight)? You should do online check-in now and try to pick a good one if you can. I noticed the other day that the schedules had all changed and from April the flight is now much less attractive for time of day arriving and the time of return, for me I would have to get out of Manchester and go straight to work Anyway all the best mate wish I were you
Ah looking again Taiwan is not that far away so not such a big diversion, just a longer route and more stops
