Apparently, triangular shaped flapjacks have been banned by a school in case they hurt a kid who happens to be throwing it in class. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-21923218 What a laughing stock we've become.
I've been trying to bring awareness of this to the public for years. Thank goodness its finally been brought to the public eye. Proper ppe (personal protective equipment) should be issused to all school children. Googles, hard hats and safety gloves. Its not about discipline its about dangerous snacks
I was talking to my 14 year old son today (Stretty Grammar). They have a check card in place for their uniform. If their uniform is not up to scratch then their card is marked and 3 strikes and a detention. The card is kept on their person throughout the school day. Something like that. No box on the card for HSE though. LOL. BTW my ex wife made excellent flapjacks with butter and honey. Extremely moist. Would no doubt give on impact. Thats the way to go with flapjacks, IMHO. The Safety Flapjack!
That actually sounds a reasonable idea for the uniform, it'll maintain standards which to be frank do seem to slip in alot of schools (noticed it in my old high school). You should market your safety flap jack, you're sitting on a hse fortune!!
