Hi Everyone, I got my TB Test certificate this morning but unfortunately there's a findings " MILD THORACIC SCOLIOSIS " but my lungs still CLEAR . IOM said, I need to attached the paper to my certificate once I lodge my application coz they tick the box chest x-ray ( abnormal) . I'm bit frustrated right now if this will affect to our application . Does anybody here experience like this ? Did you get still the VISA ?
Hi! No need to be worried or frustrated I'm sure this is pretty common, and won't affect your application at all. All you have to do is attach a simple letter that says the abnormal finding is not related to tuberculosis, but to your spine. In fact, I don't think you even have to do this as most ECOs will be able to figure this out on their own without the letter. IOM just probably wants to be sure as the design of their certificate can be a bit confusing.
My wife had scoliosis too. Apparently it's common..Caused by dietary deficiency. She needs to drink milk.

I think most ECO knows what scoliosis is. If IOM gave you a clear for TB, then you should be okay. Goodluck!
Hi bigmac, What type of scoliosis does she have? Mine is Mild Thoracic Scoliosis. I undergo many times of x-Ray but this is the first time I've encounter with this findings.
cant remember ! it must be very slight--and is no problem. she did fail the TB test--but was successfully treated. just delayed the visa application for 8 months. shes been in the UK now with me for 14 months--and its our first wedding anniversary this weekend.

Hi everyone, My husband's TB certificate had my old address here in the UK. He booked the test last 10th October and had his TB test just today. And I just moved to different address last 2nd November. Does it matter? Thank you in advance
