Took me two (2) years to prepare all the necessary papers and had only 15 minutes on the day of the submission of documents at VFS!

How about you? What can you say about your application experience?

2 years to prepare the papers...???

That must be some kind or record.....

Good luck with your application, but I realize that with all the time you spent getting things togther, it isn't based on luck anymore, but deep preparation for a flawless presentation.

Took us a couple of months. To get all the paper work together. Though we collected Skype logs and photos over a longer period of time.

Yes. Quite a long road for me and future hubby along with the humps and bumps! In other words, there are a lot of tears and sleepless nights along the way. Both carefully and meticulously arranged everything. I even checked all the papers 4 times! So much with the prep huh??

I'll get back to you about making 2 accounts.

What I've known is when you submit the application through the visa4uk website, you are given 14 days to make a payment. If they don't receive one, you have to provide all the details again. In other words, you have to re apply. As for creating a new account, you can read the terms and conditions at the top right hand corner of the page.

    No
Hi again Aromulus. No agency here. The visa4uk website is where we Filipino applicants submit the application as of the new rules since January 2014. According to the VFS global site Philippines, we must register an account through this website..

I think that form is also known as the Financial Requirement Form or the Appendix 2. You need to print and fill that out before submitting all the documents. I also printed & filled out the Family Settlement Form since there's a question there which Appendix to complete. You should tick Appendix 2. There is also another form that requires your future husband 's signature called the Sponsorship Undertaking Form.

By the way, you might also want to provide photocopies of all original documents so that UK Embassy will return all the originals back to you.

This certainly used to be a requirement. Also it makes sense anyway. So my wife put 2 sets in. One set of originals plus duplicates.
