    Hi Everyone,

I married my Filipina Fiance on Saturday, she is on a fiance visa, I don't know exactly what to go for next, is it the spouse visa or FLR, and is there a difference, or what are the differences?

I would really appreciate some help, as time is running out....

    thanks in advance,

    Sateev & Maricel

you need to apply for FLR immediately--before her fiancee visa runs out.

Flippin' heck. You're cutting it a bit fine!

You need to apply for FLR(M). A spouse visa is applied for from outside the UK.

Documentary evidence (postal letters) is required too, hope you have been collecting.

Apply FLR (M). Don't be confused , some call it spouse visa once the FLR has been approved.

As long as you have actually applied for the FLR(M) before the initial Fiancée runs out then everything will be fine, you have two options, either apply by post (could take up to three months) or apply for the premium service where you get a decision the same day (an extra £500 for this service).

Plenty of people on here who have done it and can give you help and advice - for free. Why pay for an immigration lawyer if you don't have to?
