Not sure if we can also write reviews for local (UK) hotels.. but will still do it...

Anyway, when we attended a wedding last weekend in Southampton, we stayed in Etap Hotel. Why? because it was the cheapest, it's in the city centre, it's near the docks, it's near lots of restaurant, the mall, the cinema, and has parking for guests. We just had to pay £3 per day for parking though because it was shared with 2 other hotels (Ibis and Novotel).

The room is clean but is designed differently from a normal hotel room. The bed is a double-sized one with a single bunk bed; the toilet is separate from the shower (which has a shaded glass door) and the sink is located outside the toilet.

The only facilities that they have would be is the free wi-fi access in the common area, which is the reception and the dining area. We availed of th all-you-can-eat continental breakfast which costs £3.25 per person... not bad really.

Etap hotel is ideal if you only need a bed to lie on after a whole day of going around town. It was ideal for us because we attended a wedding on Saturday and went to Bournemouth on Sunday.

Will I stay again in Etap Hotel? Oh yes... good bargain for me.
