I blame the poor performances by the majority of the English players, its the same old story, its hard being an English supporter as you always know that you will be let down.

European Championship in 2016 for our next dose of under performing.

I didnt think we would win it but I did think we would get out of the group stages.

    Sick as a parrot.

Honestly, last week I was predicting we would come third in the group, given the caliber of our competition.

Dang, should have put a bet on that one..

    :D

The english players are never good enough, so i never understand why they create so much hype.

Don't worry you have Andy Murray the 'British' tennis player to cheer on next week ;)

The problem I have with england apart from our v poor defence this time is the fact that international managers seem intent on playing players out of their normal postion they play in the domestic game

The rugger wasn't too impressive, either....whitewashed by the All Blacks.

Bugger, was hoping we'd get at least one game out there. Oh well onwards and upwards. 6N and WC next year.

Not everybodys cup of tea the old tennis and strawberry scene, each to their own.

Everyone knew we had no chance.
Nobody bought car flags as in years past.
Until we limit the amount of foreign players in all UK leagues, we will continue to decline.

I agree that foreign players in the English leagues have a derogatory effect on the National team but unfortunately this will never change due to the large amount of sponsorship and revenue the foreign players bring in.

I am not so sure that things will not change.
I think things have to change, and there is a panel of "experts" working on this now.
Greg Dyke has promised change also.

The final was, if they had goal line technology then, we would not have won. Getting to the final was no fluke, I suppose. :p

Yeah................ The rest of the world move on from memories................. Any memories, good or bad, but England revels in the past....

I was invited to go to a party last week, for the Battle of Bannockburn anniversary.. I sadly declined..........

Not sure about that. Remembering the past can prevent mistakes in the future. Should we forget things like Hiroshima or auschwitz?

Some say the past is the key to the present and some say the present is the key to the past. :D

In truth, probably a bit of both.
