    I didn't really think it was going to happen so soon, but I reckon the screaming I promised in my "Endemic" thread is in order now.....:erm:

    I cannot believe the disregard to our laws and lack of understanding to our morals, from some parts of our society.

    Because of religious constraints, muslim girls or women are not allowed to associate with males unless they are close relatives, so the blokes gang up, and look for western kids to treat as easy meat to do with as they please.
    If things don't calm down, sooner or later one or more kids will be killed off to dispose of witnesses to rape, abuse or whatever else.

    This time, the sad tidings come from Telford, not too many miles away from here.

    This is a "Religion" thing.............

    Dom,
    Please notice that there has been a spate of awful abuse stories recently in the news.
    Many of these instances are not muslim, so perhaps we should put this particular story into context and not just highlight muslims and/or religion.
    It would be fair to highlight the other non-muslim shocking stories too.

    Mike, with all due respect, I have taken into account the variables, and the conclusion is about the same.

    We as "western", are viewed as dirt, just about to be tolerated under one's shoes.

    And women are property....... Nothing else but property, just like real estate is..... or a car.... To do and dispose of as one pleases...

    For how much I hate bringing religion into this horrible discussion, it is what forms the backward thinking of many people.
    But as a self confessed atheist you already know that.

    I do agree to a certain extent, that it may well be a coincidence that asian names seem to feature so greatly when facts or fiction are reported by the media,
    and maybe, only maybe, it is used as a veiled xenophobic shock factor, for which there is no excuse.
    But it seems strange that asians don't take advantage of girls within their own communities.....

    As a father to a 15 year old girl, I would be rather upset, and vehemently murderous towards anyone that tries his luck to groom my little one, wether white, black, asian, muslim, RC, or Buddhist.

    Dom,

    I can understand why you mentioned it, especially with the safety of your daughter in mind, but I think the news about grooming and exploitation is not just carried out by muslims. Every day we hear or read about these sort of things and the majority are not carried out by muslims.

    There are many issues here. Muslims do see English non-muslim girls as being easy with loose morals and they are true in this sense when they compare morals with the stricter ones that muslim girls are brought up in, even in this country.

    I have never seen gangs of girls in muslim countries with their breasts almost hanging out and drunk out of their minds a lot.
    People who target young girls are criminals regardless of what religion or non-religion they abide by.

    I believe there are unfortunate clashes of culture which cause untold stress to innocents, or un-streetwise girls.

    We can only offer guidance to our children and hope they follow the right path.
    I hope your daughter is street-wise and careful.

    aposhark, good comments. I agree with everything that's been said all round so far.
    My own personal concern/comment is that the so called "targets" are not the drunken girls with their breasts hanging out, that are seen everywhere at the weekend, but are nearly 100% girls that are at a formative age and from really broken and dysfunctional families/background, mostly already taken into care. Highly vunerable. I believe truly and "scientifically" (sorry that not really the word I wanted but almost) sought out and targeted. For what reason?

    Another example just surfaced to re-inforce my fears.


    As one can see, it isn't the big breasted, week-end drunk variety of girl that is at risk, but the much younger and helpeless version.

    But what is the solution...???

    I suppose something like this will always take place, regardless of nationality involved.
