She jumped on the grooming bandwagon sadly, detracts from the case of those who genuinely were/are being groomed (gang raped is a more accurate description, groomed sounds almost gentle).
Why say "She jumped on the grooming bandwagon sadly"? She tried to destroy some men's lives and was caught out.
That's why I said "She jumped on the grooming bandwagon" ie saw it brought attention for the victims so jumped on it.
