Well having got married the next bit is to apply to the Portugeuss Embassy for a Family Members Visa unfortunatly the googleable info doesnt tell you that the Embassy in manila closed in 07 and having sent two diferent emails and had them returned failed I looked further down the search and found that Jakahta Indonesia deals with Philipino apllications now

Im still waiting for a reply and we will have to get Jheans and her daughters passports to Indonesia that should be fun:erm:

Not on your nelly i was hoping to avoid Manila so its not actualy that bad since no personal appearance can be required

It appears the visa is valid for 4 months though which means Jhean will have to apply well send the forms in after im gone

Dom was looking on the proposed new charges UK the other day and not really sure if the buggers have a new product read charge for eea £300 have a butchers its from april:erm:

Well having arrived and sorted my end Jhean sent her and Mickeys application on the 3rd and it arrived next day tues the 4th I had mailed them on the 30th to try and establish if i needed to pay for the return of documents but have had no replies so I transfered the DHL money to there account but have no idea if they recieved the reciept its VERY frustrating silence is hard to deal with

I got Jhean to print and include the relevant law in Portugeusse along with my residence paper Ive just mailed the Foreign affairs ministry and asked them to ask for a reply fingers crossed everyone

Got a reply from Jakarta within 15 minuits of calling the foriegn ministry here, apparently the consular section in indonesia are having to send to Lisbon for the visas I guess they are out of there depth but contact is better than silence I have just sent another mail and threatened to complain if a time line is not forthcoming and ive included my lawer in the mail lets see if that helps !!

I have the impression im trail blazing here and that this has never happened befor so lets hope that it will be easier if anyone else wants to do this and I will have all the info required:like:

I guess the waiting period for visa,s in passport is something every one goes through no matter the country It was my choice so I guess i will "contain myself with patience" (mostly) and we will laugh about it in the years to come
