Shortly to be detained at Her Maj's Pleasure....hope for a long time.

    Odious, aggressive, bigot.

Yeah to be honest I hope that he gets a sizeable fine or a short detainment. I also find it unacceptable that he would view it as being okay to post a reward for whoever 'accidentally runs over' anyone, or call someone a 'boat jumper' and invite her to return to the jungle. He should know better.

Viscount St Davids is not a very nice man. He is, in fact, a fraudster, with "form" "as long as your arm". I think the term we are looking for, here, is "spiv".

Hope he goes to jail for a good long time - not just a few weeks to give him a story to dine out on.

But I think that there are other guilty men in this case, as there were in the murder of Jo Cox. I think that Mr Paul Dacre and his employer, Lord Harmsworth (what a suitable name - Nominative Determinism at work!) are guilty of causing weak minded and violent individuals like Viscount St Davids to become over excited.

I agree that he's not at all a nice man, I had the misfortune of bumping into him in a bar across from St Davids Cathedral a few years ago, but this is a wee bit over the top, Andrew:
whereas his Wikipedia entry currently includes:
At his recent trial, or any earlier ones, was any evidence presented that he is a Daily Mail reader - even covertly? ;):like:

Here we go again with the Nazi references and inferences. You're too late: another has expressed the same far more eloquently and with less malice than you.

    Love you too, Mark

P.S. Have you officially returned or did you, in fact, never leave?

The sentiment although appreciated is not reciprocated. I have nothing against the LGBT community that by your public display of affection you appear to have joined; it's just not my 'thing'. I'm sure you understand.:like:

As you can appreciate I'm crushed by your rebuff - my olive branch cast aside.

You know, Gerry, for someone who tries very hard to portray himself as a hobnail-booted Hibernian hard nut who's a regular fare-dodging passenger of the Outrage Bus, you have great difficulty in keeping up the pretence and so produce moments of sheer unadulterated joy. This is one of those moments! I salute you as a(n ancestral) fellow Scot!

    Sláinte agad-sa! :D

Where do you get that from, really, where's the astonishment smiley, I just can't see it anywhere in anything he's ever posted here :D and I can assure you I wouldn't like or respect a Scot that presented himself that way, this is a non sequitur to me :D

Maybe you've not read some of his rants, Jim, or maybe you consider his (imo immoderate) language to be appropriate when addressing interlocutors who are centre-right. And (far, far worse) English! :D

Mark - while I thank you for finding my post amusing / enjoyable you're way off beam when describing my contributions.

I can assure you I'm not some sort of "Dave Spart" character. I simply want fairness and the ordinary folk of this and other countries to get a fair crack of the whip. I abhor exploitation, racism, mysogyny, privilege and the sense of expectation on the part of those with power.

I want a government to act in favour of the majority not a select few. I want well funded social services and am prepared to pay a reasonable amount of tax to provide high quality provision for me, my family and fellow citizens.

Now - who could disagree with any of the above? :like:

Mark - I don't have a single anti-English atom in my body. It's actually quite offensive suggesting I do.

Gerry, in describing you as a "hobnail-booted Hibernian hard nut" I was caricaturing you just as I would if I described you as a "toy-town tartanista" - a meme you may prefer! I was painting a picture and like all good caricatures, it deliberately exaggerates.

One of the problems of the day is that some go out of their way to look for something personally offensive and it seems as their day is incomplete unless they've been offended at least once! In this race to misery, they take everything they read word-for-word literally, poetic or literary licence is not permissible in their ultra PC world. How sad.

I want similar things to you but neither the SNP, the Greens, the Lib Dems, Tories nor Labour are going to deliver either of our wish lists. That's why I've given-up supporting a traditional political party (the Conservatives, as if you didn't know!) and have joined the UK Veterans and Peoples Party whose leadership are all ex-Forces. Common sense and pragmatism are promised to be at the heart of each of their policies rather than socialist or capitalist ideologies.
