looks very good to me. dont forget to put all the required details about Chris's home in the appendix--with supporting documents. by the way--does your letter fit on one page ? not that its important.
Looks good @Rheb. My suggestion though is for your husband to draft a letter as well or make this letter as a joint one. Letters aren't really a requirement but we did it (as well as some folks here) as it adds a personal/human touch to our application. Good luck with yours!
latest figures show 76% decided within 30 days--so a bit less than december. but 100% within 60 days. https://visa-processingtimes.homeoffice.gov.uk/y/manila-philippines/settlement-visas/settlement
Thanks @bitmap and @firew0myn. He has a letter too. I just check the thread and there was mention that u have to notarized the documents??
I have his colored copy of the current passport and stamp for three travel. He gave the old one too that I will include on the application documents. Would that be enough or still need to notarized the copy
he needs to take his current passport to a solicitor--and have it photocopied--rubber stamped and signed by the solicitor to say it is a true copy. any solicitor will do this--usually for £5---but my solicitor did it free for me. NO NEED to have it notarised.
Thanks @bigmac, we're still working on our pictures and chat. Once I'am ready to submit I'll update you guys. So u can tell me if I miss something. This forum really helps
he really does need to get his passport stamped and signed by a solicitor---its needed in the visa app.
How many print out did u have submitted for the chat and email? Coz us it more than 1000 page do I need to give all the copies? That's is for chat only.
1000 pages--lol. i printed one page of chat for each month---over the 2 years since we were together last. so thats 24 pages.
You don't have to print all the pages... Some did, and some only printed excerpts from different times of their relationship. For our application, I printed one message per month. I also took screenshots of our recent FaceTime and Viber call logs. In addition to the chat and call logs, we also provided mobile bills. I only submitted 4 bills - 2 from me, and 2 from the fiancé. Hope this helps.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-uk-visa-for-family-settlement-form-vaf4a Guide to supporting documents : Settlement indicates: Evidence of your sponsor’s immigration status/ permission to be in the UK This could be copies of: bio-data pages from their passport or Travel Document valid UK visa or UK stamp from their passports Home Office letter confirming their permission to stay in the UK Under appendix FM-SE there are numerous references to the requirement to provide original documents or certified copies of documents. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigra...endix-fm-se-family-members-specified-evidence Although the guidelines do not specifically state that a certified copy of the passport and biodata page is required, I feel that it would be foolish to make the assumption that a plain copy would be acceptable. The effort and cost involved in certification is small and there are no doubt other documents that would need to be certified. It is therefore prudent to have the copy of his passport certified by a solicitor since the original sponsor passport will clearly not be included in the application.
I supplied only a handful of chats, my viber showed over 6000 pages and that's not our full history, I found it very hard to find old chats between us but we do have some but not many,
