I really believed no-one could possibly better the original of Simon & Garfunkel, but Disturbed have done just that:

I thought after hearing it, that I'd stumbled upon a goldmine of brilliant covers of classic tunes and that there would be another dozen or two of equally good interpretations.

    There wasn't.

    Pity.

    Wonderful.
Sometimes his voice reminded me of Stone Temple Pilots' Scott Weiland. Anyone agree?

I like the live version too as the first version sounds like his voice is slightly synthesised at the beginning. Overall a good interpretation and I do generally like slightly darker sounding acoustics but I cant escape the feeling that, for me, S&G is the better version.

Akin to Mad world by Gary Jules which i prefer more than TFF’s version.

I had come back to New York, and I was staying in my old room at my parents' house. Artie was living at his parents' house, too. I remember Artie and I were sitting there in my car one night, parked on a street in Queens, and the announcer [on the radio] said, "Number one, Simon & Garfunkel." And Artie said to me, "That Simon & Garfunkel, they must be having a great time." Because there we were on a street corner [in my car in] Queens, smoking a joint. We didn't know what to do with ourselves. :D

A bit of a mind f*** for those still in the 70's... 1970's. this is Charlie Peck who sang a duet with himself as he transitioned. For those who don't know my filipino princess was born Michael but thats just her "in trouble" name these days. Anyway, Charlie did this cover and I find it quite emotional. I think there's only 12 months between the takes, maybe less. Be open minded and enjoy. its nice and you're not gay if you like, unless you were already gay in which case you might be a bit more.... anyway.
