Words to condemn this vile practice fail me................ I am speechless................. Utter disdain and disrespect for women, why has it got to be like this...??? And this is done to fellow muslims....................
Yup, agreed. I always recall the story of Flora Del Mindanao when reading how Saudi Arabia treats women from overseas.
I worked offshore in saudi for about 6 months (6 months too long) and there where numerous stories in the papers out there about this sort of thing. The one remember was a filipina maid who was been abused (physically and sexually) by her employer. He'd beat with stiff rubber tubing etc. that sort of thing. The maid fled to a hostel of sorts that allows abuse victim out there in to help them out. Anyway the employer turns up with a flight ticket for the maid to go home. The maid leaves with the bloke and is never seen again. The thinking (rather obviously to me) in the paper is she is now in a hole in the dessert. The police now can't find the employer "as he has his mobile turned off"!!!!! Great policing!!! Saudi is an armpit of a place that treats everyone and I mean everyone who isn't a male saudi with comtempt, disgust and bear faced racism. Ignore that fact that they are a terrorist training hotbed as well. As I read somewhere once "we should drop the bomb on that place and turn it into a ******* glass ashtray" Still they do produce nice dates to eat!!
