My lady is a bit of an expert on dialysis in Canada and the UK, what do you need to know?

Ah, right, my lady has worked in a few dialysis wards, we have a few relatives in the PI who are nurses, I will ask and get a rough price.

I will get a rough price,my lady prefers the dialysis ward to work on, she used to carry lots of stress on the cancer wards.

My missus reckons 5-7000 pesos a session in a decent PI hospital, but I have sent someone who works in a hospital in Davao a message.

Wow, 20k a week for 4 sessions, I think I would be heading back to the UK fast if I had to use those.

That would be a decent hospital, you can get it cheaper, I know a guy in Canada, met him a few years ago, really nice guy, had put his kids through school, finally paid off his mortgage, looking forward to the good life, then his 20+ year old niece developed kidney problems, needed a lifetime of dialysis, guess who was called upon to fund it?
The NHS is a godsend :like:

Unfortunately, we will all need treatment as we get older, Jim.
There are not many who live a long life without hospitalisation and an operation or two.

I have considered the idea of living in the Philippines but living without the NHS is a non-starter for me.

I realised this when I had a heart attack. They can come at any time especially as we get older. I was so grateful for the professionalism and care when I was on a ward in England recently.

Had kidney stones a long time ago, been told to drink lots of water which I do especially on this keto diet, my keto diet has stalled 79.5 Kgs for about 6 months.
But for using a dialysis I would be back in UK using the NHS for free.

Not so easy if anyone has a heart attack in the Philippines, Jim.
From my recent experience, a heart attack happens without warning.
I was in hospital for nine days and had a stent inserted in one of the arteries of the heart.
I shudder to think how much that would have cost over there, apart from the pills/tablets that are required every day afterwards.
