We have a house in Marikina City and have spent lots of happy times there. It's very convenient to be within reasonable distance of the airport. Also well placed for city tours and Shopping Malls. In fact we are only a couple of minutes from SM City Marikina. Anyway, sorry to make an English reply in this thread, here is my comment. Marikina is considered the shoe capital of Pinas. Northampton (my home town) is (was) considered to be the shoe capital of United Kingdom. Small coincidence I know.
