DHL takes approximately three working days to arrive in Manila plus a day to clear customs. Deliveries cities outside the NCR take a further 1 - 2 days.
When I used DHL I dropped off the items Tuesday lunchtime and they were delivered to my wife Friday lunchtime (in Metro Manila area).
Three days seems to be the norm, especially if the loved one lives in or around the city. If the package is for your visa application then just include documents nothing else, I know people have had trouble when mixing documents with gifts etc. You don't want any hold ups with the all important visa application.
Wow pretty impressed with DHL, docs sent to Phils on Friday (12th) afternoon at Staples, arrived for collection in Koronadal City on Tuesday (16th) AM
On Feb 1 I had a signed for Royal Mail despatch sent via their 'signed for ' service. I did this as it wasn't time dependent. To date it hasn't arrived. That cost was £7.50 Quite a difference form the £40 odd by DHL. BUT Next time I'd rather pay the DHL cost since at least it has a more than decent chance of arriving.
I don't have a DHL close to me so I used parcel force world wide from my post office,it cost £69, sent Thursday arrived Monday, expensive but it worked.
ouch--how heavy was the package ? up to 500 grammes with DHL envelope--£39 W H Smith and staples are agents.
Was a bit painful Alternative was to drive for 30 minutes to the nearest DHL then obviously drive back, the next service was only £15 but no guarantee of arrival date, being so unorganised has cost me but hay hoe it's only money lol painful indeed
