Guess... Michael Koors.... Fossil....Ted Baker...John Rochas.... Armani....Blah, blah, blah.............

Spent nearly all day traipsing around Cheshire Oaks Outlet today, obediently following my better half and getting wound up by the minute to the point of near nuclear calamity...

Hahahaha I can laugh because I don't have to do it this year! I do feel your pain though, the great unwashed do get massively more stupid at this time of year. Online shopping to stop me going on a gun rampage

I must admit that I am one of the worst shoppers, if it is for things like food or clothes.
I just want to get in and get out as fast as possible, so much so that my wife asks to be dropped off and collected later so she doesn't have to listen to my moaning.
It is the to-ing and fro-ing that does my swede in

It's not just us men on here:

You do the right thing Mike, by dropping her off it saves the stress.

I wouldn't dream of going on a shopping trip with the wife, its too much for me to cope with :)

We did a bit of a shop yesterday, which ended in the wife getting a coat for 20 quid. She enjoys a good shop, but she's not too bad, and at least I get an apology every few minutes which I normally wouldn't get for love nor money!

It is amusing watching women going round shops with some hapless blokes trudging round behind.

What gets my hackles up is not the spending on something useful, made with a purpose and that may retain a small but certain value.
Is the constant hu-haing about glittery junk or clothes with some name or other symbol stitched or printed on the chest or backside of said "garment"....
50 quid ona t-shirtthat doesn't reach to cover halfway down one's bum...??? You must be sh*****ng me.....!!!
100/150 quid on a fashion watch with unknown origin movements, no date, but lots of goldy looking flash all around???

I find it very difficult in trying to explain to my beloved how we are all getting ripped off.
But the lure of the sales blinds people into a sense of "having" to have something, even if it is regretted a day or two later...

My wife tell me that brand names are a bit of an obsession with Filipino women in particular, and the behaviour of her friends very much backs that theory up.

You're right about that, the missus has designer handbags, shoes and expensive branded watches, none of which I've bought or ever will be doing, just got back from M&S and treated myself to four new vests, cover the back up just lovely :)

Did buy the wife some special green tea while I was out though :)
