Is it true that the Local Registrar Office in town, they dont forwardly right away to the NSO office after they register it and why they wait 3-6 months, why is that i was disappointing when i try to get my NSO copy of marriage Certificate through online and said that my application is negative cos the Local Registrar office don't forward yet the Marriage Certificate. Meaning i cant apply yet for my Visa next month
yes that can be we took ours to the registra in cebu and asked foe express it was then available about aweek later from the nso
Marriage certificate form the NSO - ours took just a few weeks. But it takes longer if it is a church wedding. (Ours was a civil wedding)
Thanks KeithAngel and Johnash for the reply. Anyway i really don't stop, how to get answer on my query, I go to online website of NSO and ask what should i do to make it shorter. Cos i found out that the Local Registry in my town they don't forward the Copy right away they have to wait 3 to 6 months before forwardly to the NSO office. I disappointing My Husband already upset to me cos he said i dont bother oh if i only knew after the wedding and after they register, i am personally endorse my paper to NSO to have NSO copy right away.The NSO online advice me to get Advance Endorsement from the local register in municipality, so i do it right away i have to pay for it and pay for the courier also just to make it sure i can get the copy already after two weeks. I am waiting now and i am going to try request next week. as its already two weeks since i send it. Hopefully... as my Husband cant wait already. He already sending papers for supporting documents. I organize already the Marriage Certificate only now i am waiting..
Hello there! My British husband and I got married through civil rights here in Cagayan de Oro City last week of December 2012. I hate going to the NSO at 3AM in the wee hours of dawn just so to fall in line in a looooooong queue! How can I check my NSO authenticated copy of our Marriage Certificate via online? Hi, Seems like Keith did it the best way. Our documents went from the province in Cebu to Cebu City then on to Manila. We had to wait two months before it came back. My wife used to go to her town hall and ask regularly. They told her it takes time because of the Daanbantayan / Cebu City / Manila / Cebu City / Daanbantayan route.
Those who wants their Marriage certificate forwarded ASAP to NSO you have to inform the Municipal/Church that you wish to have your Marriage certificate available at NSO ASAP and they will ask you a small fee depending on the distance or which town/country it is coming from, they themselves from Municipal/Church will forward it to NSO office. :vhappy: I have a friend who got married back in Oman and they paid Philippine Embassy a small fee and their Marriage certificate were available within couple of weeks time and he is then able to get her a spouse visa for her to visit UK. Only I find out after a couple of years of Marriage they are already divorce! The quicker they want all their papers to be done, the fastest they get rid of each other too!
