Hello to everyone. Me and my husband is about to send our documents to the phils. to start applying for dependant visa for my son who is 17 years old. apparently, we have filled up VAF4 and VAF 4A appendix 2.
as I browsing the www.gov.uk i saw a different application SET F Applicaion for indefintie to remain in the UK as a child under the age of 18.
did we filled up the correct application form? the VAF4 and VAF4A Appendix2?
thanks. hope to hear from you soon xx

You got the right form. Don't worry. The Set F is for under 18 applying for ILR but your son is far from that yet.

Thanks for that. I have seen that too. But bit confused. Which are supporting documents? Is the vaf4 and appendix 2 originals and photocopies are the only documents do i need to send to phils? Also i have checked the health surcharge i need to pay for my son. It says £O ? Some tild me its £500. So stressfull now.

Follow the application instructions and register for your son's IHS if there is no option to pay. At present there is a technical issue with the IHS website not charging the correct fee for children below 16 years.

I know someone who experienced this for her child dependent - she went through with the application and submission of documents but was emailed by the deferrals team a few days after and was advised to log on to the IHS account and pay the fee.

    Good luck.

I don't know why you're encountering that. My password with them is very personalised and not generated. I can still log into it now I just checked.

hi there. finally, i was able to get into visa4UK application. but this time i cant get through as they're asking for my son's date of birth under family details. his father name in the birth certificate is N/A as I didnt put his name from the start. we can't continue with it as it has a(*) sign that needs to be filled up

You can try putting a name. Just any name so that you can proceed.

I put N/A for the name and it works. But asking for date of birth.

Well my worry is that we will receive another email asking us to pay a surcharge ......it seems very hard to work out what you should be paying ?
