You are probably not a lover of the North Sea but if you get a good image from above in the dark you can see a run of lights up and down the north sea where the rigs (platforms) are. In this image, if you click on it, you can just make out the light of the north sea rigs to the east of Aberdeen.
Been to a few of those in my time, but you're right I'm not a big fan of the north sea. Too cold and lumpy for me
Yes, I have noticed that. I have met many who simply say fark the North Sea, I want to work somewhere warmer and with less paperwork.
