Hi All, Another silly question I'm afraid. Just going through the VAF4A Appendix 2 question 4.17, Do you have any children. The problem is the future wife has 5 daughters the youngest is 22 and the oldest is 40.
I would have put the answer to that question as no children as there all over 18, she seems to think it should be yes. Anyone got any idea about this?

    Thanks Rob

The word 'children' does not necessarily imply childhood. There are no words in the English language for the concept of 'grown up children'. So she should reply 'yes'. She has adult children - who are not travelling with her - and who are not included on the application.

    Hi @RobH , do you mean VAF4A 4.17?
To the question I would say Yes. Whether it is relevant is up to the ECO.
You answered the question truthfully and gave them the info.
