Ok myself and my wife are waiting on a decision for my wifes 7 year old daughter 2 join us here in the UK on a settlement visa and i was wondering what she will need to leave the country ... I have read that she needs to register with CFO and get a sticker but does NOT need 2 attend a seminar etc etc . Some report say a Travel clearance is needed but some say its not needed on a Settlement visa . She will also have 2 pay travel tax when leaving the country . As always any comments or personal experiences are appreciated . Salamat Po Matty
Exemptions from PDOS and Peer Counseling Seminar For children 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy. The following additional documents are required if the proxy is not the legal/natural/adoptive parent of the registrant. 1. Original and photocopy of one(1) of valid identification card with photograph of the proxy 2. Special Power of Attorney authenticated by Diplomatic Post if parent/s/ or guardian/s are based overseas; or a duly notarized authorization letter executed by parent/s or guardian/s while in the Philippines. 3. Other documents that may be required by the registration officers. I take it you will travel with her?
The princess ( my wife ) will go collect her . So just register with CFO and pay Travel tax at NAIA upon leaving ?
I'm not sure what else she needs so let's see what others will say about it. But yes she needs to get the sticker too.
Well No updates as yet . My daughter will meet me upon MY arrival at NAIA so we will see if she can get her CFO sticker at there airport ( we will fly back to the UK 10 days later ) CFO desk removing the need for a trip to there Manila offices .
