An outstanding achievement for Chelsea, reaching the finals and make it an all English affair.

It is a pity that the final game will have to be played in Istanbul as it makes a mockery of various Covid-19
    quarantine rules and regulations.

Me, personally, I would love it if Wembley was chosen as an alternative venue.

Another all English champions league final.
    Nice.
Well done to both teams and their supporters.
I just wish my team could qualify, let alone get to the final.
    Hope springs eternal

One thing which stood out from these 2 semi finals is that both Premier League sides were vastly superior to PSG and Real Madrid. It was almost like a Round of 16 tie where the group winners play the runners up of Group B who are invariably weaker teams like Porto, PSV, Zenit etc.

PSG are presumably going to strengthen further during the Summer (though I'm not sure Messi would have the same impact at PSG than he would at MCFC) but Real Madrid and Barcelona are going to be a few years away from challenging. Although Bayern were beaten by PSG, I think they are the main team in Europe who would be confident of turning over any Premier League team.

It'd be interesting to see how Leicester or West Ham would get on against PSG and Real should we get an unpredictable finish to the Premier League season. Even though they might finish above Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham etc on merit, would their lack of European experience really count against them against the traditional continental giants? Would they lack the front end quality when fielding their best 11 against PSG's best 11?

An English venue would be good, however Wembley is booked that date for league play off finals.
Villa Park has been offered up.

Another very English club gets through to a European Football cup final.
Potential now for 2 trophies coming to English soil instead of a definite one.
    Great for the fans.
    In Ole we trust.

I heard on the radio there is a possibility of the venue being closer to home, for Covid reasons?

I don't understand why corporate customers would be so unhappy?

Games have not been attended by fans for the whole Champions League season. Teams have had to rearrange matches at a moment's notice - Chelsea vs Porto in Seville, Liverpool vs Leipzig in Budapest to name just two.

Plans have had to be fluid for the whole year. If some customers have made firm, non-refundable commitments in the current environment they are the most idiotic bumbling fools you could imagine.
