From what I can see, children under the age of 12 years do not have to attend but the parent needs to present their passport and visa to get a certificate when they attend CFO. I think I would be incline to take the kids alone with me, can’t do any harm !

Just before the pandemic my wife went to one of these things and it turned into woman's gossip hour (or two) about how my wife had survived being married and living with a kano (me) for over 7 years! If she has to take them, then take someone to look after them while she's in there
@bigmac wife is in the UK and has british citizenship. CFO is for her child who is either 17 or 18 from memory and just got settlement visa.
I need to know how does he get it..how long does it take to make an appointment. If it wasnt for me sticking my oar in...no one would have done anything about it..till he gets to the airport snd is turned away. You would think pinoys would know something about their countrys rules.

duly pinged. ive told her to crack on with this--expecting major delays in philippines. Manyana land..where waiting in long queues is part of daily life. the boy waited 5 years to ger his visa--so a few more months of delays is par for the course. I posted the link you’ve posted 4 replies up, do keep up! and it works The link you posted shows me a similar messsage as the one I get on the link I posted ie telling people it’s full must be a blocker UK to Philippines. However if you use the link address you can get into the link I copied 5 replies ago and the one you have tried to copy
yesterday i had sent wife all the links from these replies, she then conferred with her daughter ( here on a 3 year work visa ) I had mentioned boy attends with mother 11 PM last night daughter rings--and a 2 hour conflab ensues. 1 AM this morning i am informed they have managed to book appointment for boy in february--when mother is over there for holiday. I suggest she contacts son to check up whether she needs to be there with him.--usual response to anything i say is--WHY--so i replied--"in case you cant be there yourself "--anything can happen. I am told--yet again--i am being NEGATIVE--and no help to them. At this point i exploded. From now on i want nothing to do with immigration, or philipine bureaucratic bullsh1t. i didnt sleep after that--going back to bed.

If the other travellers in your party are attending the same appointment then they if over 18 can act on your wife’s behalf with written permission from your wife
