Hi, me again! We got our fiance visa through this morning! We are currently in the process of applying for the CFO appointment. On the website it shows they have availability in August but someone I've been speaking to doesnt have theirs until September... does that mean we request a date and it might not be available anyway?? I dont understand why they would show availability next week if it's not a true representation... Anyone got any insight?

thank you!! we're very excited. but now the dreaded CFO haha. we attempted to do an online appointment but they're on maintenance and no date for when it'll be back up so now we're attempting face to face. I keep getting mixed messages and boy is it stressfullll
Can only give retrospective advice - as situation is constantly changing... When my Fiancee did CFO in 2018 'online' was not an option from what I recall - so that's an improvement! Hopefully the website downtime you refer to will only be temporary - hours, or maybe a day - so I wouldn't be too quick to opt for an in-person seminar. Don't know where your partner is located, but if they need to get across/around Manila, or from 'the Province' into the City, we all know what the traffic situation there is like! Who needs the extra stress of travel beforehand...
Appreciate the advice! The downtime started back July 17 so it's certainly something that's taking a bit of time! But things do in the PH... we're hoping to travel end of August so we just want to get it out of the way ASAP. Thankfully he's in Makati City so it wouldn't be too difficult (minus the traffic) for him to get to the appointment centre
Once you’ve answered the question and provided an e mail address click submit then you get a confirmation e mail on the confirmation e mail will be a link open that and this should confirm your appointment, however if the slot you require is full then they probably allocate you the first available slot! Each slot has a maximum of 15 attendees and are allocated on a first come first served basis
