    Mark,

    Seems your contact may not have his finger on the pulse after all - note the last line about Tasmin. This means that although they advertised the position which was supposed to be filled by April there is STILL no replacement. Shambles :(

    Well Geoff (Thomas) is pretty adamant that Tamsin Booth will not be taking the job. Given that "they" didn't bother to appoint a new Hon Con for Davao when the previous one retired and a recent Ministerial Statement on Consular Services, I am beginning to doubt a new Hon Con for Cebu will be appointed.
