There are two sets of statistics here, both related to issues that cause concern to the British public.

• Firstly the official statistics, the supposed facts about these issues.

• Secondly the public perception of these issues as gathered using a telephone poll.

I find the immigration issue to be rather amazing:

Officially 13% of the UK population are recent immigrants, a further 2% are illegal immigrants, that does seem a lot.

I wonder who is classed as a "recent" immigrant, is that in the last five years?

How can they count "illegal" immigrants when so many work in the black economy?

How would you support yourself in the R.P?? Just curious.

If by R.P you mean my home country then in exactly the same way that I plan to do it in Philippines. Cost of living in the Philippines and my country is comparable.

If that's what you mean I am just trying invest my savings wisely. Your money shouldn't never lay useless in the bank account or under your bed. Your money should always work for you making more money.
