I try to never look at advertisements on the internet, in any place, I have spent my life deliberately avoiding companies and multi-nationals who try to sell things as it is too invasive. Even when I was growing up, my parents and the rest of the family always jumped up and turned the volume down on the TV when the adverts came on. It was time to put the kettle on. In fact, we hardly watched ITV because of it. What can I "say"? I just hate it with a passion and always have done. It's not even a case of being a grumpy old man because, regarding this issue, I was a grumpy young man too.
i find some tv ads better than the programmes themselves. i watch no: football soaps game shows rugby "talent" shows dance singers i do watch programmes about property cars railways. cops and robbers
Hope you don't mind, bigmac, but if I decide to change my sexual preferences and start to like men, I won't be knocking on your door as I don't watch any of the things in your "i do watch" and watch football in your "i watch no" list I guess we're stuck liking Filipinas
I kind of would watch the things Malcolm watches too although once in a blue moon I will also watch a game show, like Tipping Point, silly game show but fun sometimes. But I'm with Malcolm on all the other "don't" watch list.
We are avid fans of Line of Duty I enjoy A place in the sun(as long as the prices are what I could afford) Nothing to Declare The girls like Strictly come Dancing A big no is Simon Cowell
All that ever seems to be on TV here is medical ER type shows, I could probably do a lung transplant with a Swiss army knife and needle and thread the amount I have watched. I want to start watching this, I must say Jeremy Corbyn doesn't look quite as stressed in his new role.
