Indeed they are Peter, the Aurora shots remind me a lot of the work of a guy that posts on DPReview in the Canon forums, he is quite stunning. Another chap going by the name liquidstone on DPReview also does a lot of Astro Photography his moon shots and shots of the space station are quite remarkable he is also one of the best "bird in flight" photographers I have ever seen and what's more he's Filipino based in Manila. That solar shot that caught the silhouette of the space station in transit across the face of the sun is one of the best in that collection on the beeb. Nice find Peter
