That's how we Filipinos like our performers/singers in general. My countrymen have an obsession with those over-performers, 'birit singers' as we call them. Truthfully, I'm not a fan. I'm so sick of people trying to scream at the top of their lungs, just to impress people, even when they are off-key or it's unneeded in the song. I'm more of a fan of the natural/subtle singers.
