Airfreight

There are long delays with shipping Balikbayan boxes by sea these days, because of Covid, so that my wife sent a box by airfreight - Banned items are perfume. No freight service will allow perfume to be transported. So neither DHL. Fedex and any other carrier will allow anyone to do this.

They removed the perfume, my wife placed in the box, and then it was sent to the Philippines, and held up in Customs, and very unlikely to ever ship this way again.

delays on balikbayan boxes!! ours has just arrived after 8 weeks pretty much the norm

what carrier did you choose? Have prices risen .......

We used force and it was£90 for extra large box very heavy probably 3 foot square

The banned list shows similarities to prohibited items on planes.

This is air freight only,we have sent aftershave and perfumes by sea with no issue.
