Well, it is going to happen as from Monday 1st November.....:frust:

Something like that does affect everyone of us with families 7/8000 miles away, and nothing can be done to stop it.
It seems that this labour lunatic legacy is, unfortunately, here to stay.

It is, on the whole, a very unfair increase in passenger tax, and the money raised will go straight into government coffers, as there isn't a real environmental issue that can be addressed with it.

Oh just great :frust:, Elsa and I are saving hard to afford a flight to Phils and now they throw this in to the mix.

Am I right this won't affect foreign airlines - for example KLM Manchester - Amsterdam - Manila? I'm sure I heard this on the radio yesterday.

What good is it going to do...???:erm:

KLM is dropping all Philippines travel from their schedules as from next April, I think...:erm:

I read it somewhere and can't remember where is the link...

No point in me trying to save any money, as her indoors has got holes in her hands and the stuff just drips through....:erm:
