    Micawber,

This may bring back some good memories for you:

I used to go to a club in the Congo by myself. I used to move my feet a bit, well you can't keep 'em still when west African music plays loud :vhappy:

West African music and dance, you can't beat it :like:

Micawber (or anyone who has lived in West Africa) will understand :) The connection between the music and the dance will go straight over others' heads.

Jamaicans have a good expression "Those Who Feel It, Know It"

It is about a celebration of life itself, not about what I think you are alluding to.

    Agreed.
I also enjoy the dancing and music.

Yes, some happy memories.... and some not so happy memories.

I actually never got to Congo. I tried to enter one time from Angola but got refused entry and to this day cannot figure out why. I wasn't brave enough to argue with automatic weapons.

We had a factory in South Africa and I would spend loads of time down there just preparing for my next project.
