    I agree. But I am going to call in tomorrow and ask face to face. Then I will email them. Unlike on the mainland we can talk to the Immigration people here.

    My work colleague entered into email and phone dialogue with them, very successfully.

    But if you have an email from the horses mouth, whats the point in redoing the test?

    We would simply submit their email response if they state there is no need to resit it.

    Firstly there is the cost. Then there is the hassle for us. Then my wife simply doesnt want to sit it again unless she really has to.

    All we do here is walk in, join a short queue if any and talk to them over the counter. Doddle.

    Of course it varies. Here we get fleeced. Isle of Man surcharge. I seem to recall £120, from my work colleague.

    Its not a small amount of money then is it, and of course if the Mrs doesn't want to do it again.

    Exactly. Its a bit like putting birthday cards into ones visa application.

    I will check with them. See what they say.
