No. I think you will be fine so long as you present evidence that your relationship is genuine (such as evidence that you met before the marriage) and of contact since the marriage (the so called intervening devotion).

If you know someone in City hall you can pressure them to speed it up. We married end of May and we got the NSO marriage certificate around end of June.
Elsa and I first met each other in October 2003, by May 2004 we were married. The Embassy are only interested in evidence that the relationship is genuine.

Hi @walesrob, nice! thought I was the only one in whirlwind relationship. Once you found the one, no way to let them go and tie the knot.
