Hi everyone, I don't know if this has been asked before. I have 2 jobs at the moment, and I am permanently employed for both jobs. I have been employed for the first job for about 7 years now and my second job for about 2 years now. I am confused as to which category I would choose - for those 2 jobs with combine salary i will meet the required financial requirement. What category im going to choose cat A or B? Plss help

Just simply by reading the UKBA rules on this it would seem that your circumstance would fit into Category A. You need to clear £18600 per annum and it doesn't matter how many jobs you take on to do it. However, if your income was variable and not fixed or if you had been less than 6 months with your employer, then Category B it would be.

I know that the UKBA can surprise us and dont necessarily cover all scenarios in th their guidelines, so you might want to email VFS or the UKBA just to be certain, It might take a few days to get a reply but it has been known to work.

I will not meet the financial requirement with the first job i have, so i need to put the details of my second job. Under cat A only one employer is allowed to write in the space provided. Where will i put my second job details if i fall under cat A?

I would give them an email if still uncertain:

    ukinthephilippines@fco.gov.uk

They do take a few days, going on a week, to reply sometimes but it can be worth it.
