Hi Everyone, just a question about returning to The Phils. on a 13a probationary visa, I obtained 13a probationary visa together with ACR card last June 2021. Unfortunately I had to return to the UK in November 2021 for family reasons relating to Covid, I,m still in UK and intend to return to The Phils next month to my wife and retire there, I,m aware that you are supposed to report to the BOI in Jan/Feb for annual assessment though in my case it was not possible, am I liable to pay a fine?also as my visa is valid until June 2022 do I need to buy just a one way ticket or is a return ticket required as for the tourist visa ? Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
From your good friend Google https://ottawape.dfa.gov.ph/index.p...-alien-certificate-of-registration-acr-i-card The concerned foreign national must pay the annual report fee within the first sixty (60) days of every calendar year. For foreigners in the Philippines, annual report payments made beyond this period are fined two hundred Pesos (PHP 200) for every month, not to exceed two thousand Pesos (PHP 2,000) in a year. For foreigners outside the Philippines during the first 60 days of the year, they are not subject to the above fine. However, they are required to settle their annual report fees within one (1) month from the time they arrived in the Philippines.
You might have to pay a fine of 200P per month. flight tickets get what we call a throw-away ticket, one way ticket out of the Ph , cheaper than a return ticket.
You're about 5 miles down the road from where my family are (I'm personally stuck in England ). What I will say is that the General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway makes that 5 miles feel like 500 miles I've bought furniture down that way in the past.
Can anyone help here: I'm just getting my ducks in order for my 13a - It's the second part "Checklist of Documentary Requirements for EACH dependent" that is confusing me, presume my children, born here in Phils, are Filipino but dual citizens passport holders? Do I need to do this for them ? I mean they don't have a latest admission with valid authorized stay etc... Current Link for 13a: https://immigration.gov.ph/visa-req...rsion-to-non-quota-immigrant-visa-by-marriage
I'd go down to your nearest BoI and see if they can help. If your dependents are Filipinos and have a Filipino passport I should not think you have to include them.
Got to renew my 13a permanent visa card this year. Looked at the BoI site but no info on renewals. I'l ask my mates next time I see them. Or pay an agent t do it for me.
They mean your foreign (like you) dependents (if any). If your kids are Filipino citizens... does not apply. I've gone through the whole process during the past couple of years (and now have my 'Permanent' 13A)... without using an agent.
